News: RL and Acura lineup receive the ultimate safety ratings

Acura is the only luxury brand to receive 5-star safety ratings across all its models on the government's frontal and side impact tests from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)†. In addition to earning 5-star ratings on its front and side impact tests, the RL received 5 stars on NHTSA's rollover test. Acura is also the only luxury brand to have every one of its models designated a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. To earn the Top Safety Pick honor, every Acura model must have standard traction control and earn a rating of "good"—the highest score—on frontal, side, and rear crash tests. But impact tests are only part of the Acura RL's safety story. This intuitive luxury sedan has several available features that were specifically designed to help prevent collisions from ever happening.
