Long considered the benchmark in third-row luxury SUVs, the new MDX again sets the standard for excellence in a very exclusive class. The clean-sheet redesign started with a lengthened wheelbase that increases legroom and ride quality. Hundreds of trips to the wind tunnel allowed Acura engineers to achieve a 16% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency. This increase—plus a 275-pound decrease in weight—is expected to result in a best-in-class EPA fuel economy rating of 20 city/27 highway/23 combined mpg. The MDX interior is more inviting than ever. Enhanced AcuraLink™ connectivity and an intuitive touch screen put your world at your fingertips. The roomier third row is now accessible via push-button. On the road, the available Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Blind Spot Information (BSI) systems perform almost like a factory-installed co-pilot.
