Three concepts. A singular vision. From the next RDX to the all-new ILX and the re-imagined NSX, Acura has a vision of what a luxury vehicle should be. And we just unveiled it at the Detroit auto show.

The NSX Concept, based on the efficiency of hybrid power and all-wheel-drive is proof that ultra-high performance is at the core of Acura's DNA. See a simulation of the NSX on the street. Have you seen the Detroit press conference wrap-up with all three vehicles?

But the fun didn't stop in Detroit. Next we went to the Chicago auto show where we revealed the all-new RDX and ILX production models. What's new with the 2013 RDX? Acura designers resolved a paradox: luxury can indeed be practical. The innovative technology, attention to detail, and feeling of spaciousness you demand from a luxury SUV is now in just the right size with all the right amenities. The necessities have never been so smartly appointed.

The inaugural ILX reflects what Acura has always believed: that technology and design are what define luxury—not size or price. The premium, entry-level compact sedan brings plenty to the Acura fold with three powertrain options, including our very first hybrid. This is clearly a luxury sedan that plays by a new set of rules—yours.

You may remember when Tyson Hugie reached 500,000 miles in his 1994 Acura Legend. On November 4th, he pulled into the Acura headquarters in Torrance, California right as the odometer rolled over the big 5-0-0-0-0-0. If you haven't seen the video, watch it here. Now Tyson is on to his next adventure. Last month, Acura flew him from his home in Arizona to the Detroit auto show, where he got an up-close-and-personal preview of the brand-new Acural ILX from the car's designer. Over the next few months, Tyson will be learning more about the ILX and chronicling his journey along the way. We'll be sharing his experiences with you on Facebook, YouTube and in emails, so stay tuned. In the meantime, to find out more about Tyson, visit his blog, DriveToFive.

For the fourth year in a row, Acura was a proud sponsor of the MusiCares Person of the Year tribute. The gala event honored Paul McCartney and featured a one-of-a-kind TL customized for Sir Paul that was auctioned off to benefit musicians in need. The event was held February 10th in Los Angeles during Grammy® week. MusiCares® provides critical assistance to members of the music community.
